Help wiring alarm.

its my first time doing an alarm. doesnt seem very hard as there are only 14 wires that i need to connect + 2 pda. i found my long lost alarm system by "mobil works" its not top of the line thing but it would make me feel good that i have a chirping alarm as well as my other security units i have for my car.

here are the pin outs. it'd be great for someone, anyone to help point out where each wires go or @ least pin 2,4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 13, 14 lol.

i will be taking my time and tucking this away. thanks in advance.

Re: Help wiring alarm.

91 civic wagon. idk its just me. i can read things and sometimes i cant seem to get it.

like pin 2. must connect to the circuit that shows +12 when only parking lights on..im unsure but im assuming the red wire? (cause theres red and black for parking) if it exceeds 7 amps, i need a relay? if mine does, how do i wire a relay? and my car isnt independent cause it has 1 fuse for left and right, i dont need this diode thing right?

thats what i mean. like im unsure where some of the wiring goes.

Re: Help wiring alarm.

You do not need diodes, use the park light "freepin" in the under dash fuse box, You may need a relay, I will check the fuse size for park lights.

Read... http://www.the12volt.com/relays/relays.asp then if you have questions just ask.

Here is a "tag in" sheet for your car... http://www.bulldogsecurity.com/diagr...13574&MakeID=3 although there are other places to connect the alarm wires then listed, it will atl east give you an idea.

If you have questions feel free to IM me. 94
