DEI and Compustar sensors hook up question
 

I'm trying to hook up a DEI 506T audio sensor to a Compustar alarm. The wiring diagram of the audio sensor shows that it should work together with a shock sensor. It'd be a simple "plug and you're done" thing if my shock sensor would be a DEI, and not a Compustar. I have to rewire and match the wires for this to work. First question is, what's a Zone 2 and Zone 4 on DEI alarms (or shock sensors)?? Is this Zone 2 is a 1st stage trigger and Zone 4 is a 2nd stage trigger? What I'm thinking is plugging in the shock sensor into the alarm, just like I would if I'd have no DEI audio sensor....then, I tap the 12v (red) wire and ground (black) wire that are coming from the audio sensor into the wires that run from alarm to shock sensor. This is easy...but I'm confused about the Zones and stages. To what do I tap in the blue wire (that supposed to report a Zone 4) from the audio sensor??? 1st or 2nd stage trigger wire?? And the biggest concern...does this mean I will lose the 2nd stage trigger of my shock sensor??? Or can I simply connect both the audio sensor and the shock sensor to the 2nd stage trigger and dump the 1st stage?? Will this work? Do I need diodes??? What should I do?

Yeah, a window break sensor, but the official name is "audio sensor".
