The main locking unit is in the driver door. Its a brown box. But if your doing a alarm you can get the wires to unlock and lock the doors in the drivers kick pannel or the factory security plug. Also the triggers only test with the passanger door.

Thanks.
So where is the best place to connect the keyless door wires?
Do i connect them off the interior fuse box?

driver kick pannel is the best spot if your doing a stealth install. The factory plug for the fatory alarm stick out like a sore thumb.

Looked everywhere under driver kick panel, can't find stock plug anywhere.
Remember its a U.K spec Ek so the interior fuse box is on the right same as wheel, would it be on the left (us drivers side?)

Re: Civic EK Where is central locking unit? (fil2000ad)
In the 98 USDM Civic it is a green/white for lock and a green/orange for unlock in blue plug in drivers kick panel, [left side] or at the green alarm plug behind radio.
You should also find the green/white and green/orange coming from the drivers door harness, unless your 98 UK Civic is like a 96 UK Civics one wire system.
Why not just pull the power door lock switch in the drivers door and see what color the wires are there. 94

Right.
Took door trim off, found keyless relay.
Tried alarm wires on each wire off relay, could't get both doors to trigger.
Disconnected drivers door lock harness on door & the passenger unlocked & locked fine.
Both door locks work fine so i know its not the motors.
Can't seem to get both doors to lock/unlock together.
Also found a 3 wire plug under passenger dash (left side) with Blue/White, Blue/Red, Black/Yellow.
Tried alarm wires on these and also did't work.

OK, let me try it this way...
Does your car have a power door lock switch on the drivers door?
If so, does it lock and unlock both doors?
If so, how many wires are going to it and what color are they? 94

Yes drivers door has power lock switch.
Yes it locks & unlocks both doors.
9 wires go to it.
These are thicker wires:-
White/Red
Yellow/Red
White/Green
Black

The two leads going to the pass. actuator, [yellow/red and white/red] are the same as the USDM and CDM 96-98 Civics, 94-98 Integra, 90-93 Integra and 91-95 Legend, probably the same on a lot of Honda/Acura.
My wiring diagrams do not indicate there is a power door lock switch in the pass. front door, only the drivers door.
The power door lock switch in the drivers door has 3 wires going to it
Black, ground input.
Green/orange, unlock output.
Green/white, lock output
Do you not have a power door lock switch with those 3 wires going to it, in your drivers door?
Should look like this... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...sting

Yes the relay is only in the drivers door.
The relay has 9 wires going to it:-
WHITE/RED (1.5MM)
YELLOW/RED (1.5MM)
WHITE/GREEN (1.5MM)
BLACK (1.5MM)
GREEN/RED
BLUE/RED

My door lock is same as in your link.
I've put a photo of the relay/wires in my 'garage' on this site, search 'fil2000ad'

By relay you mean "Power Door Lock Control Unit", USDM and CDM "PDLCU" have
Green/white
Yellow/red
Blue/red
Black
White/red
Blue/yellow
Blue/white
Green/orange
White/green
Also 9 leads and although there are some color diff. I would be willing to bet it is the same system, the two leads you need to tag into are the ones you do not have, green/orange and green/white, possible your green/red and one of the blue/reds, as ours has only one blue/red and no green/red.
Now I will ask you one more time, how many wires are on the power door lock switch and what color are they, that's the switch on the drivers door by the door handle not the relays or anything else, just the switch????? 94

5 wires go to door switch
Yellow/Red
White/Red
Black
Blue/Red
Blue/White
I connect alarm wires to blue/red & blue/white (driver door), this only locks & unlocks passenger door when door switch on drivers side is disconnected.

Re: Civic EK Where is central locking unit? (fil2000ad)
Now that's completely diff. then the USDM/CDM power door lock switch on the drivers door, ours have only 3 wires, a ground input, [black] and the two outputs, [green/orange and green/white.
I have no idea why there are so many leads on your switch when the power door lock control module has the same number of leads as ours do.
With our switches the output leads go to the power door lock control module, and supply it with a ground when you flick the switch to lock or unlock.
Try metering the leads and see which ones go to ground when you flick the switch to lock and unlock, those would be the leads that the alarms neg.(-) door lock outputs would connect to. 94

Re: Civic EK Where is central locking unit? (fcm)
hi mate
Did you find an answer for your central locking problem?
I have same issue as you and same wiring ( same colors )
I can lock and unlock the passenger side but can not unlock the driver side with my new alarm.
Pls let me know if you have a solution for this
