audio issues
I have a kenwood cd Head unit along with a second cd player.
Top HU is a KDC-716s Bottom is a KDC-D300 http://i132.photobucket.com/albums/q...a/DSC03055.jpg Problem: With the Head unit in operation, I get sound with all four interior speakers along with the sub. But when I remotely switch to the bottom cd player to play music (KDC-D300), only the two right side interior speakers along with sub work and not the two left side speakers. I removed both HUs to see what the wires look like in the back. It appears it has two wire harnesses. One to the HU and one to the cd player. Nothin seems to be loose. The system plus wiring was done at Professional shop ....10 plus years ago. BUT not the interior speakers and head units. As I changed those several times. I have nothing major. Just a simple set up. Head units stated above. two JL audio fronts two JbL back 350 watt amp bridged. Any help is appreciated. |

Re: audio issues
Why do you have two hus? The top one has a cd player (unless it is broken) and the bottom one is only a cd player.
The relays for the cd player's speakers are probably fried. have you externally amped the speakers? |

Re: audio issues
The relays that allow the switching for the outputs of one hu to the speakers to the other are probably fried.

Re: audio issues
The other HU should be connected to the main HU via the auxiliary cable. That way you can hit the source button to switch from "CD" to "AUX". Is this how you have it hooked up? If not, then you should.
