Default 1987 Civic Hatch radio removal

Hello everyone, I'm needing help getting a radio out of my 87 Civic Hatch. I've gone to great lengths, still have yet to find what the mounting bracket could be attached to. Can't find a diagram anywhere on this. When I bought the car, it already had an aftermarket installed.

If you're referring to the rear mounting point, there should be a bolt/screw that attaches to the back of the headunit. More than likely the installer used some metal bracket strip to help hold the headunit so it won't "bobble" around in the pocket. Look carefully and you will see what I'm talking about.
