96 civic cd player installation help

my friend got the harness where it keeps his stock radio in his car.. (cause he has the keyless entry.) and then the harness connects into alpine cd player.. now we turned on the car and the cd player didnt turn on. but right now his turn signals dont work either.. Does everything need to be hooked back up again before the cd player will. work? He put the cd player in the din above the cup holder. thanks

Did you check for blown fuses?

Does the key-less still work?

Check both fuse 47 -7.5A, [hot at all times] in the under hood fuse box and fuse 28 - 10A, [hot in acc. and/or run] in under dash fuse box.

Do the hazard lights work?

signal light fuse is fuse12 - 7.5A, [hot in run and/or start] in under dash fuse box.

BTW you may have to run a fused lead from the batt. for the HUs constant power, [yellow] instead of using the oem radio harness one.

what is the make and model of the HU? https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif 94
