The model is a 2003 Honda Civic Sport, 2 door hatchback.

The issue Im having is that I was trying to pair up the fob with a new battery installed that hadn't been used in a long time to the car, and while it appeared to pair, the fob doesn't actually do anything after the pairing process. The main issue is that somehow while doing this I managed to activate the alarm so now when I lock the door with the key and unlock it again, the alarm sounds and the only way I can shut it off is to quickly pair up the fob again, or disconnect the battery. I've tried putting the car into valet mode with no luck so Im just going to assume mine doesn't support it.

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

ditch that whatever alarm you have and replace it with a reputable one. Wiring up an alarm to those cars are actually easy to do. All the wires you need are behind the underdash fuse box.
