That shop looks amazing! That's how Honda should have made the ILX looks like that from the get go. I hope you are able to make your're vision come to fruition. Would make for one truly unique and stunning car.

Got front side windows tinted. Now they all match 80% tint.

New OEM front lip coming to myself using this years christmas bonus once it comes. I'll be buying a new STI front lip or possibly trying to fit the ap1 mugen replica lip underneath the OEM front valance.

Despite people using them on ap1s, Mugen designed them to be used on AP2s. Mugen already had a half bumper/lip for the AP1.

Really like the ILX, wish I had the money to lease one of those rather than this Fiesta ST I got to upgrade from my constantly breaking down 95 GSR.

Really like the mods, but wheels are definitely needed! Not very fond of plastidip but I see you use it sparingly and tastefully at least, I see far too many people doing their whole cars in it around here... good luck with the car man!

Thanks for the kind words. I never expected to get a brand new car. Always loved my integra. It started getting the shakes and I had just started making more money.
Posted it on craigslist and got hits for more than I was expecting... enough for a good downpayment so I went for it.

Agree on the plastidip comments. Even just the wheels white and the two rear emblems black feels a bit tacky. Ive only got about 2 months before wheels so im juat going to live with them. Once they come off ill be stripping the wheels back to oem for storage.

Half way done.. Got the OEM kit installed. Now a half day of work then home to see if I can get the new sti "splitter" to fit.


I had a good dollar sized scuff mark on the passenger side bumper. OEM lip covered it up perfectly.

kk.. i'm gonna try to be a bit honest.. but so far all your mods are things you can't really afford.. and your leasing this? honestly man i would look at your money in a different way..

if your having fun that's great, but if you really wanna get into cars i would return the lease deal.. work your face off and save up some cash and get a car you can afford.. then have that extra money to dump into it..

only so much you can do with $20 mods and spray paint...

I cant afford my mods? I bought them didn't I? How did I not afford them? You don't know how much money I put into other areas of my life so I would hold off before passing judgement on my financial situation.

Yes Im leasing it. Seemed like the best idea at the time and so far its been great. Payments are lower than they would be if I financed. Im leasing to buy with a cosigner at the time; I am not even done with college yet. In 2 years the lease will be over and I will refinance to purchase the car in my name alone. Still sounds like a good idea to me. Different strokes for different folks.

I can agree with this but frankly most anyone I know could look at their money better. We all purchase things we can live without. It is a small hobby that gives me something to focus on outside of work as well as many other things.

Work my face off? Im working fulltime+ as a warehouse supervisor for the west coast's largest shooting range/guns dealer. I mod slowly because I have other expenditures and places to put my money.

Some of these comments Im taking sort of offensively.
Suspension was 10xs that at only springs.
Intake is worth 10xs that at retail.
OEM kit over 10xs that.

Sure the plastidip is a waste of time. Believe me I got that. I wont go that route again. But the only items costing 20$ were the fake reservoir socks, battery tie down, and some small LEDs.

My Acura was starting to get the shakes. You know, high milage, tranny had already been rebuilt. Just about time for those good ol' motor mounts to finally go. I sold it before I had to replace them. Being young, not the best gear head out there but certainly trying better that others, in school, part time job at the time, constantly losing a car to the shop and having to fork out money I wasnt expecting wasnt the best way to go.

Making the choice to buy a brand new car with payments to build my credit and now i dont have to hit the shop onces every 2 months. Things are great now. Thank you for the concern and advice but Im good.

Really loving this front lip. Cant beat OEM quality.
Picking up a dremel from home depot this weekend then working on this STI lip.


I never take profile shots anymore.
I like how my springs just make it look how it should have come stock.
Wheels with tax return then saving for some coilovers to dial it in exactly where I want. Nothing too aggressive.


Love my work parking spot. No door dings.

And OPC... as I said I have other places I put my money as well as my payments and mods. One of my many expenditures.. my collection half way done.


As well as firearms, Im starting to buy nicer clothing for myself, less fast food more SUSHI, friends, massives. Ive got a life to live dude. Cars are not the only thing in it. I hope you do the same.

Edit: While being honest, took a look at your past posts. Seems like you just went on a btch fit spree roaming around the forums telling anyone you could that they should get out of this hobby and that they cant afford it. What a clown.
