Hopefully gonna get some more work done on the wing today, gonna lay filler on lunch then hopefully get it to th point of the first coat of primer this afternoon so I can see where it still needs work

Didnt get **** done on the wing today except lay some filler. But here is something I never got to post up....

I hung some 4' 2 bulb shop lights in the garage last week. The light is unreal compared to the incadecent 60 watters I had before. So now Ive got 4 32 watt flouros, and 4 60 watt incadecents. Its got to be 300% brighter now

I also set up the second bench in the far corner which is now home to my drill press, bench grinder, and vise!

Unreal is the old lighting that was there, its like how did you work in the dark lol. It doesn't even compare.

Yeah I worked there when I was in college for a little while. I also worked in the lighting department in Lowes back in the day haha. F*ck that job!

Made a little progress on the wing.. The whole thing is blocked with 80 and 180 grit, and I filled the badge recess (since its a replica ). Now I need to lay filler in some low spots and nicks and build up those corners with fiberglass and resin, then reshape. Ugh so much work!

and heres a little something I started yesterday at work... Its the beginning of a custom mid pipe for an RX8. This part is the high flow cat that I added custom reducers to then the straight and flange. Hopefully going to finish this today... Not bad for my 1st time TIGing since I went to welding school

No not yet, we havent really started working on it yet. Im in the process of building a wire harness for someone right now, so as soon as that is done We will start the tear down

I was going to try to run VIR this fall but I cant afford it. So next spring it will be. Probably Watkins Glen or NJMP

Yeah its actually not a bad exhaust... its nice thin piping with a tight slip joint and I mean, it does sound pretty good. Welds are mig though, and its ugly lol.
