My carbon came today so I fabbed up the console block after work. After about 3 hours of work I had the shape just right to press fit into the opening, then sprayed it satin clear and layed some urethane from behind to hold it secure.

I used 3m window wewd urethane adhesive. Thats what I use on pretty much anything I need to bond nowawdays... If I had a nice OEM setup like that Id probably keep it too, I just hate the look of aftermarket decks, and the usb cord coming off the front, ugh.
Gabe - that dash looks sick, really nice fitment going on there I think it would look even better if it were flat/satin finish

btw - package is shipping out tomorrow E. Sorry for the delay, it's been packed up for a while now while I continue to forget to drop it off at the post office.

That's why I'm planning on running it behind the head unit into the glove box or through the center into the arm rest area. I hate the exposed wire as well.

Thanks again for that package. I really, really appreciate it man
Yeah it would have been a different story if I had a double din Nav or something, but the new setup is 1000 times cleaner than the deck.

Yeah I tried my best to hide the cord, but it still bothered the hell out of me....

Re: SHG is back! Easy's EP3 goes under the knife...
So I rolled the car outside today for a little photo op before it goes back up on jackstands
The interior is coming together nicely, its pretty much the way I invisioned it now, with only a couple more little things I want to do.
.
.
I also started getting the car prepped for the new Buddy Club battery. I removed the stock tray, battery and ground harness. Once the battery comes in I can start fabbing a tray for it and get that corner of the bay painted since Honda painted it with the OEM tray installed, leaving primered metal underneath.
.
.
And the S2 tie down came in. Debating if I want to remove the logos for a cleaner look, what do you guys think?
.
.
And a little sneak peak

hell yeah, i like the idea of cleaning up the battery tie down so its just one color. interior looks clean. i always hated cd players, i've been running a custom harness to under the drivers seat for a long time, just need to make a bracket so it doesn't slide around

Awesome looking interior, no distractions! If you can shave the logo I would but if not then not a big deal. Skunk2 makes some good products for sure but their image has certainly been on a roller coaster in the last few years. Its too bad that some look down on their parts, a good part is a good part and thats a neat looking piece.
I peeked the caliper setup upclose and was like woaa haha, there is no gap! That will come in handy to get the tire warmed up quick when you're at the track.

It looks like the logo is painted onto the tie down so Im hoping some brakleen will take it right off

Get rid of the logo, and then use some of that left over carbon to make an insert to drop right down in that opening :D

boo, i was actually playing with the idea of making a panel behind my block off and having a wideband/fuel pressure/fuel temp guages behind for track days and to be able to monitor those things once in a while without having them on the dash or visiable everyday. what do you think about that?
