How much detail do you want on it haha, I'll snap some pictures of it tomorrow when I'm back in the shop
Got a little bit done tonight while I still felt decent. Damn wisdom teeth are impacted causing pain, nausea, unbalance and overall feeling like hell. I should have gotten these bastards out 13 years ago like I was supposed to!!
I'll start out by showing a little bit of the shop. We've been in the new place since January, it's about 5,000sqft, MUCH bigger than our old place. We have a fab shop on the other side of the main work area, equipped with brake presses, kick shears, a Mazak laser, tubing benders, all sorts of fun stuff. I even have a room I close off from everyone else I can keep my "special" parts in lol
soo kinda off topic lets hear about this Muzak laser not everyday someone in the car community knows what' a Mazak laser is

Not too much of an update. I built a cart to wheel the shell around on, nice simple and to the point. Also had a few things come in today. My Tilton overhung reverse mount pedals and reservoirs as well as my 12 gallon Aero Tech Labs fuel cell. That thing is amazing. Only a few more days until it's off to get caged!

When you see the Tilton 3-Chamber Rezzy come out, you know the build is about to get serious!

More parts... my shipment from Hardrace came in. Front and rear camber kit, front LCA bushing, trailing arm bushings, toe kit, all pretty good looking pieces.
ALSO I got an email from the supplier I was getting my Bride seats from, which I order over a month ago. The refunded my money, no explanation why. When I called them, they said they wouldn't be available for 3 months. Thanks for keeping my money for a month then randomly sending it back with no explanation until I called...GREAT business plan there guys. SOOOO anyways, I ordered some Recaro Profi XLs. I've had Recaros in all my cars and should have went with them in the first place. They're coming from Germany, so about 4-6 weeks out.

Looking good! That shell looks soooo clean. So glad to see some nice builds up on the forums... Seems everyone is away on Facebook and ****. Can't wait to see more. I love the pics, and anymore shop pics are a plus... I love seeing where and what people are working with.

Made some progress and also got the car down to Tin Soldier Race Cars for the cage to get done. All the sound deadening is up, that was an adventure, I forgot how fun that was... I mounted the non-tilt column and removed some brackets that won't be used. We're converting the steering support over to a tubular style for clearance and to get the wheel where I want it. I held the pedals up to show just how well they're positioned, they're going to be perfect.
I also got a LOOOTTTT of parts in the mail over the past few days, I need to get pictures of them all, ESPECIALLY the HUGE order from Mike @ KTuned, TONS of awesome parts! The Takata harnesses came, now hopefully the Racaros come soon!
I can't wait to update with pictures of the cage, I promise it will not disappoint!
Finallllllly, I can start on getting the K20 prepped and ready to go. I'm going to glass bead blast it with #9 bead, so it'll be nice and clean when it goes back in, almost looking new. Tonight I placed the final order from Honda with EVERY piece I'm going to need for the rest of the build. It hurt the pocketbook, but it will be well worth it.

It's almost like I can't build a car anymore unless I do that. Literally everything going back on will be new, reconditioned or powdercoated though. As soon as it gets back, plumbing is next.

I'm in the same spot with my 510. Everything that I want to do will surely lead me to tearing it all apart and redoing it from scratch.

This is awesome. I remember when you built the DA and I followed you E36 build on stanceworks. Love your work and have been unknowingly following your builds. Good work man, you builds some quality cars.

Can not wait to see how this build turns out. After seeing previous builds, I know this will NOT disappoint! Plus I have a soft spot for CRX's as well.

Re: Pandahatch out of retirement, CRX Mugen Pro 2, K swapped build
I started on some little projects since I have no chassis right now. I redyed the Mugen SW3 wheel. It was decent when I got it, but had some 1 o'clock position wear, leather was worn down etc... So I used some Leatherique leather dye, shot it through a detail gun and now it looks 9/10 besides a couple tiny marks that were unavoidable.
I started working on the K20 as well, first order of business, cut off the factory tensioner mount. This damn Honda cast aluminum is so porous and has so many air pocket voids, I'll have to TIG up a couple of them that were in the casting, but overall, I'm happy with the outcome and shape. I tried to keep the stylizing like factory and not go overboard with it. Everything ill be getting glass bead blasted so it will all be uniform texture.

Picture update! Jason & Brad at Tin Soldier Race Cars are KILLING it with this cage. This is just the beginning. There will be a cage around the fuel cell as well, along with low door bars, and some other trick things that you will all see in a later update. This is definitely one-off one of a kind. Notice the tubing is all brushed polished, that will come into play later on... The pictures will speak for themselves.
