I got this back from my builder last night. I tried to finish assembling it but realized I was missing some stupid stuff. Keyway, dowels...crap like that:

thats right.
I figure since i have the time Ill make everything nice and pretty. Once the car hits the track I cant guarantee anything, i wont be afraid to wreck the paint.
The tranny was cleaned up with lots of simple green, then a wire brush, then paint.

well i had a big hold up this weekend, as i was putting the head on the block i realized my dowels were missing (i bought the head and block separately). I ended up ordering about 60 bucks worth of dowels gaskets and misc parts from majestic honda.
Once that stuff gets in I can move forward again.

Well i just put through my order with summit. a few hundred dollars worth of stuff. I ended up going with the nordskog digital guages and an Earls oil cooler. I sold the Mfactory one now also. I bought some 10AN lines with fittings and everything to run it with my mocal thermostat plate.
So basically this is the rest of what i need for the car if everything goes smoothly (doubt it).
Ill get some piles of the parts once they come in.

Re: (Mr. Vapor)
I'm still debating a few places for tuning. I still have the Hondata S200b all hooked up so I'm pretty sure ill be using that again.
The debate on tuning is some places can do it for $200 that have experience tuning plenty of hondas. Then local shops like synapse tune for around double that... then Evans who is just a road trip away and couldn't have a better reputation but his price is around $600.
Tough choices. I have a bit to figure it out though.

just remmeber, you get what you pay for! </TD></TR></TABLE>
ive really been leaning evans, but that means breaking in the motor, and driving down to PA on a rough tune.
