Your correct about the exhaust. It has fallen well behind the other mods, so it's high up on the list. But it sounds decent enough, and it isn't broke. So other maintenance will come first.
Anyway. Since looking at the other build threads on here, I've noticed some very amazing from-scratch projects. I've still got a long way to go to get to that level, but mine is a DD, so I feel that earns it the obscene title. lulz.
Thanks for all the comments everyone. I'll update at things develop.

I entered my first show, it was a fun day. Took home best Acura. I know it's only a grassroots award, but there was a really nice teggy with lots of JDM goodies that I was competing against, so it feels pretty good.
Now if I can win some grassroots Auto-x next, that would be sweet.

Wow, nice work. Tastefully done ! When I first saw the auto shifter I thought to myself: I wonder if he did a manual trans swap. lol And you did.

Dude you won an award already?! **** yes! What better motivation to keep it going than that? BTW where'd you get that Phantasm sticker under your hood? It's from a shop here in Raleigh, NC where I get some of stuff done.

Then im gonna strip the carpet from the trunk, shine up the paint in there, put in a full size spare with matching rim, nice jack and sweet tool box all securely mounted. Sort of like a ballen mobile shop in the trunk. Perhaps a small compressor and what not. Plus this will come in handy on all those long road trips i take.
The Phantasm decal i got in Nashville at IA, couple guys were handing them out.

Probably Nam and his cousins or something. He's the guy that runs the place. They're pretty well known around here. Good to see them repping in Canada now lol.

Small update here.
Just got my AD08's put on... Holy ***** they're awesome, car handles heroically now. She's almost ready for Nashville Super Speedway open lapping this weekend at IA. I'm so excited!
Picked up my first bucket as well... Not bad for 80$
Gonna install the hood pins tomorrow, then I'm all set for the track. Guages will have to wait till after IA though, still need to get pods for them.

Re: My obscene 1.6 EL build. From stock to present.
Installed my second defi gauge a couple weeks ago! 2 down 3 to go. lulz.
I haven't been running a cat, so naturally I blew off my old OEM resonator with second gear vtec. lol. I've been shooting afterfire through the exhaust all summer so it's no surprise.
So now I had a new magnaflow hi-flow cat installed, I also upgraded to one piece 2.25" pipe from the cat to the same muffler I had before. It's amazing how much sound the resonator was absorbing. Car is sooo loud now!
Thanks to Amir and Rob at A&R Auto in Thorold for the clean install at a good price!

Just a sample of the new sound.
I love how it sort of has a cracking sound, reminds me of lightning, lol.

Re: My obscene 1.6 EL build. From stock to present.
Updates: Vibrant stealth muffler, rear CF diffuser, rear tow hook, defi water temp guage (still got two more collecting dust), dvd/navi singel din deck, new floor mats, removed washer fluid resivoir, replaced OEM front door speakers with JL's.
Maintenance has included new front driver wheel hub and bearing honda parts of course, new front bumper, replaced all four front ball joints using Skunk2 uppers, Moog lowers, new belt tensioner pully, touched up caliper paint.
Still haven't got the intake sorted out... When I have money i have no time, and when I have time I have no money. Don't want to add anything too long though, as i like my throttle response.

Absolutely love the final product. Easy to see lots of time and money has been invested in the car and it stands out. I own an EL myself and am heavily debating on keeping it and building it similar to yours, this thread just convinced me even more not to get rid of it. Good job all around!
