yea i was gonna ask you that..how to get it pretty much clean it all the way...will the petrol eat away the rest of the plastic/dynamat material left over..which are small little pieces and stuff....or would sanding it down be better?

Re: (pr3d)
With petrol-gasoline it goes down very nice, put it on the rag and then rub it, you'll see petrol literally melts that black stuff but don't be cheap with it, put enough petrol on rag and those big parts wont get off so easy, so take some sqrewdriver or something simular and rub it a little...don't sand it cause then you'll have to put primer on and then color it and before all that protect paint...

Re: (FernEF)
These are some new parts for CRX and engine
-ES bushing kit
-Motul for engine
-header wrap
-BC wheel nuts
(this was the worse investment, I can't belive that I bought those, they are all nice and will be good on wheels but for that kind of money I could of bought something more smart, but it's a long story how I get those and in a way had to buy them )
About work on car, still striping that mistic of the stitches I use sharp chiesel to remove that and must say that there is a lot of that mistic on chassis

Re: (EF8kid)
Got one more thing for suspension, ES bushings for rear trailor arm...
So I had to do some work to get the old ones out, fuc.k that **** I was working almost all day just to get old ones out, tryied to burn them but nothing happend then I did some work with really sharp chiesel and very sharp knife and at the end use some brushwire...
Arms are almost ready for sand blasting and powder coating, one is ready and on the other one I must take of one last part...I won't all parts to be nice and shiney when they'll go back on CRX so every other part under thecar will get the same treatment

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by crxcess »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">How common are crx's out there? has it been hard to get parts for it?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Not that common, if I say that there are only eight CRXes on net to buy in whole our country that explain a lot and none worth a dimme, but the prices are stil very high for 90-91' CRX they are about 2000-2500$....pretty expencive for what you get, lucklly I got this one from one guy that wanted to do swap B16A1 (I must say that in Slovenia I'm the only one that did swap of B seria in 4th gen civic/CRX, everybody else are just tuning their 92'up models easy with swaping)...so the guy give up and I got very mint and in exelent condition chassis

Re: Re: (SwissChEz82)
Si hood was sold before I got the JDM SiR one,
about air gun I wish I had that, don't have compressor in this house, so I'm doing all by hand , but hopefully soon the garage where I can get all tools will clear (my girlfiends brother is building up a VW-beetle-the old one)...
Today I preapaired all parts that are under the car for sand blasting but first I must took those orig. bushes out so I'll add ES ones after the sandblasting and powdercoating is done ...

Re: Re: (TypeKoshiR)
Finally finished striping mastic in interior and engine bay, I did spent lots of time on that
and some suspension parts come back from sand blasting and are ready for powder coating (mat black) and then nice ES bushings are goin' in...about chassis now I must turn car over and strip the bottom down and then finally stitch weld that piece of metal
some photos of something that used to look like car
That one was the hardest, it's under the dash but it had to be done ;0)
Shiney sand blasted parts...nice
