I decided to refinish my tail lights since they were off the car anyway. They are in good shape overall but the surface looks dull and sad as seen here.

So I busted out my drill, rubbing compound and polishing attachment and got to work.

Polished vs unpolished.

Good as new.

Thanks bro. The tail lights are often neglected when restoring a car but it's so easy to do and costs so little that everyone should do it...even if not restoring.
Edit: They actually turned out like new, I just couldn't get any really good comparison shots that truly shows it.

Nothing sucks more than re-doing something because it was half-assed the first time.

Back at the shop we made more progress on the car. The fenders were taken off and worked on individually. Having sanded, bondoed, welded, primered and guide sanded they were set aside. Same with the gas door.

The driver side fender was nearly un-usable but Charlie worked his magic and made it like new again.

We then worked on the body for the next few days.

TY sir. It's hard to appreciate hard work and dedication until you've done it yourself. Clearly you've put alot of both into your build...looking great! Too bad many of the earlier pics of your build are dead. The pics on the last page look dope tho...makes me miss my old EF9

Believe it or not the whole process took well over three months from start to finish. We worked on the car probably an average of five hours a week...mostly after hours. Don't be discouraged, you can make time.
