MrBonez25 '99 Adriatic Blue Pearl DC4 Build Thread
Hello Honda-Tech!
First off thanks for taking time viewing this, I appreciate it!
My name is Shawn or "Bonez" as most of my friends call me
I have been in the Honda game for about 5-6 years now.
I got this 1999 ABP Integra(automatic) about a year ago now as a commuter. I got if for a steal at $500 with messed up valve seals or something like that. I got a spare LS head from a buddy for free, slapped that bitch on with new fluids and gaskets. She ran like a dream.
Fast forward about 9 months I blew out the automatic tranny driving home from Bay area soooo THE BUILD IS ON.
I have never really thought of making one of these before but I decided **** it.
I have an extreme passion for cars as most of us do and I love being able to do everything to my car. I dont like people touching my car or putting stuff together because there have been numerous times wheels werent tightened, other bolts etc... just cant trust anyone but yourself or a trusted mechanic
Anyways this car has been built on a low budget.
Sooo judge accordingly
Everything on the car has been done by me.
Besides the paint. lol
This is what she looked like when I first got her.
This is how she looks now
what the bay looked like
So it i didnt really do anything for awhile just got lil things for her.
I got these ITR floormats for 20 bux off a buddy just missing center back piece
I got some C8 for a good price
Rolled at stock height for awhile.
Theeeenn got some shitty coilovers
smmaaaassssssshhhh goes the rota
had to put the hx on in meantime
got some gt3 for a decent price from a friend
stripped them down and sent them off to powdercoat
for awhile i stopped workin on her and just focused on work until her tranny went out from me abusing her lol **** it manual conversion time!
since i knew i wanted to tuck the harness i figured why not build myself a harness....
heres the finished product...
not too bad for a first time making my own harness.
many headaches, long nights, and monsters have been in this harness
so i started aquiring parts for manual swap. i have alot of parts leftover from old cars already just needed pedals, cmc, and lines and other lil stuff.
TIME FOR HEART TRANSPLANT!
motors out
mocking headlight harness tuck
pulled dash
originally going to keep abs then decided **** it.
putting my gsr head on b20b block
Cleaned up the motor some
wellll since i had the bay apart... i decided hey.. lets paint the bay
prepped
makeshift paint booth... im a broke ***
sealer
my boy joe who works in the local Honda dealership body shop got me the 2012 Honda Fit color Blue Rasberry Metallic... getting ready to paint it
just laid it down. waiting to dry.
waiting for more pics to load and ill add to it

Shoutout from a fellow Norcal resident and props on that diy harness man! I woulda kept abs though if you plan on still commuting with it; its more of a safety feature than anything.
