Kennybhonda's MUGEN 無限 POWER THEMED EH BUILD "GUMBY"
Hello everyone welcome to my build thread, i will post updates as i go. A bit of history of the car, i purchased it from a friend as a running k swap car that needed a lot of attention.
paint and body weren't the best but overall a solid foundation with a good power plant and decent parts.
I parted most of the stuff i did not want or need and got straight to the drawing board.
My goal with this car is to have a well rounded, quality, fast car that can be driven in any circumstance.
fascinated with mugen parts you'll see a good amount of them throughout the build. enjoy, follow ---> on ig: @kennybhonda_
Once i removed the parts i did not want the car went in for paint and body:
some modification to the hood for clearance since i'm running a bigger manifold
Lenses cleared, plastics sprayed
bumpers
Engine bay
made it back home, took about 6 months to complete
Test fitting the mugen m7 wheels
wet sanding completed
Began assembling, adding small stuff
oem decals
Mugen mirror cover paint match with new decals, icb x vision mirror lense
Power plant k24 tsx bottom with k20 type s head, excessive manifold, dc5r coil pack cover with mugen cap
wheel wells had a lot of over spray so i decided to use por 15 to coat the wells, great stuff, drys quick
Suspension installed, kw v1 with hardrace camber kits
Got started on the engine bay, subframe also had over spray so i dropped that, painted it as well as the control arms and installed new rack along with oem lower ball joints, misc other stuff
Acquired a mugen lip in great condition and gen 2 spoon mirrors, off to paint!
M7s mounted on 205 50 rt615k falkens. mirrors and lip matched "wheels were placed there for pics"
kept it simple in the interior, mugen racing II, mugen pedals, sergeant dead pedal, formula ****, with the new hybrid racing no cut box, oem mats
since the windows came out i purchased new moldings, hardware for cowl
bnib SiR corner lights that im going to put away
remind me to change my vtec fluids lol
Gen 2 mugen bars
Traction bars paint matched
new emblem
I changed my mind about the m7 since they were 4x114 and i wasnt a big fan of adapters so i sold them to a buddy and picked up some mf10l
That's all for now, transmission will be put together soon and the motor will be ready to drop in. With kids and full time job its hard to find time to work on this thing, but every now and then
i get something done. i will post progress pics as i go, thanks for viewing.

I finally buttoned up the rest of the suspension, i need an alignment bad. im awaiting front and rear calipers to come in to be finished with brakes. my buddy came over with his mint dx with 63k original miles.
