Thanks guys I really had to play with it, the core support I bought came from a wrecked db8. Other than the hood not being quite right (probably because it was a cheap cf hood) I'm happy with the way everything turned out!

I'm going to start building a harness for my fog light switch tomorrow and I'm not super impressed with all of the info I've found online. If I think about it, I'll write something up

I've gotta start pulling some power out of this engine, my fiancee is about to drop some cash in a 15 Si coupe... I don't like to lose lol.

Cams should be delivered tomorrow. I'm debating on whether or not I want to upgrade my valve springs so that I can safely rev to the Type R's factory rev limit since I'm running a jdm p73.

Id say you may as well go for it if you are running the p73. Especially since you'll have the top end opened up.

That was my thinking as well. They're a lot cheaper than I thought, and I can go ahead with the valve seals while it's all opened up

it really shouldn't matter how high you can rev your engine, safely or not.
All that matters is when you stop making power, thats when you should shift. And on a stock build you won't be making power high enough to worry about hurtin the motor. The only reason to rev past that high is if your on a road course and coming into a turn where you want to go faster, but upshifting will loose you time since the next turn will come up very soon and you would have to downshift.

I've got supertech valve springs headed my way! Now I need to order all the tools to do the valve seals.

00-01 ITR

Edit: I was wrong, they're 97-99 ITR. Not much difference in specs though, so an upgrade either way.

I may be in over my head on this one. I decided to try and create my own tuck harness with a factory GSR harness that I had lying around

Trust me, I've been there...

Fortunately, this is just me inspectimg my old harness and not so much tucking it as I am making it look prettier than a bunch of split loom and tape.

Nothing to update on, really. Just found out tonight that I don't have functioning brake lights, so that'll be a lunchtime fix tomorrow. Prepping to do the valve seals, valve springs, and cams in the next couple of weeks. Going to install the S2 throttle body again, pick up a dc2r exhaust, other odds and ends.
