Crazyjetsfan22's S2000 Resurrection
Whats going on guys! I have been wanting an s2000 for the longest time and finally got around to getting one for my self.
I have built my 99 civic from a daily to a show car to a track can and it now has to come off the road so i need a street car for some weekend fun so i picked up an s2000 or two.....
Here is the link to my build thread in case anyone wanted to check it out..

I will have updates on my Ig as well @dave_marino2
So long story short i picked up an s2000 rolling shell locally for a decent deal. (ended up needing more than i though it would but that ill go into later)
Here are the pics of the rolling shell.
The shell sat for about a year and half while i saves some money to find a wrecked s2000 shell to get all the parts for this one.
Picked up the shell with my trailer (there is no drive train in the car so dolly was fine to use)
This was the enginebay which was my least favorite part of the car. First the engine bay was sprayed with rubberized coating and the center support beam was cut out for a 2jz or ls1 swap by old owner.
This is how the car sat for about 1.5 years
Fast forward a to end of 2016 i came across a wrecked s2000 for sale on here and figured now was the time to make my move
Info on the Donor car
2004 S2000 with 73k was crashed at a track event had some extras a long with it which made for a slightly better deal. I am going to take everything and i mean everything from this car thats useable for my rolling shell. All bolts all wiring and what ever suspension i can use.
As you can see the s2000 got hit pretty hard so i have a long road ahead of me!

I Still have to look into that some more. Front Passenger side is totally destroyed , and rear passenger has some damage just have to get some time to see if its fixable.
Both on the Driver side are in excellent condition. They are 17x9 in the rear and 17x7.5 in the front if i recall correctly.

Updates!!!
ended removing/ cutting off any of the useless or damaged stuff on the donor shell to make working on the car easier. Plus i have to get to the center support beam to put on the good shell!
The pass side knuckles/ spindles were damaged in front and rear, found some blown motor mounts, bad bushings and ball joints that need some replacing.
The car same with some billstien coilovers which 3 of the 4 are good . hoping fixing the damaged one isnt too costly!

Rolling shell bay was as far is i could get it before the body shop. Rolled the car out on a nice day to hose down the engine bay with a power washer so i can do some sanding that i need
As you can see the rolling shell is bare! as in no gas tank wire harness and missing a lot of interior !!
The old owner removed all of the sound deadening bc it was going to be a drag car. So the floor was bare metal in a lot of spot so decided to take some paint to the floor on the nice day.
I will be putting down some dynamatt on the floor to keep the road noise down and the heat. i just wanted to paint the floor to not have any bare metal showing!

Some more progress with the car!
Painted the floor of the interior so it would not rust after the old owner removed all the sound deadening
I will be adding some dynamat in the future to the floor to keep the road noise out.
Love how nice and clean and neat the bay is but time to populate it with some parts!
Added some undercoating to the tunner and by the frame rails
Installed the fuel lines and brake lines
Dropped the whole rear of the car. I have to swap the pass side rear knuckle and some mics parts on the car. Will end up doing new bushings on all the suspension pieces bc they are beat up pretty bad.
