Haha. There are definitely going to be a little bit here or there but it wont go over the top like the ITR. I basically want this thing to remind me of my ITR pre JDM front. A solid driver car thats just fun overall, while keeping everything factory fresh as possible

thanks.

I have a few updates on power plant but no good pics. I had a friend I know through audio contact me about selling a swap he had in a previous car that got totalled. I got some details from him and decided that this would be a great motor for what I am building. We agreed on a price and I picked the swap up on sunday. I wasnt expecting to get a swap so soon, and dont expect to get it in anytime soon as I want to do a few things to it first and make sure I have any supporting pieces for it. May as well do it right the first time.

Just one pic at the moment:

It is a OBD2 B18C1, and the person I purchased it from has owned it since 1999 :O It has been refreshed in the past 4 years and only had a couple of years of driving since it was pulled after the car was totalled.

The motor/trans consists of:

96 B18C1 rebuilt in April 2011 with:

All new bearings and seals in short block
US ITR pistons
Head had exhaust valve guides and valve seals replaced and 3 angle valve job
AEM cam gears
AEM fuel pressure regulator
NGK Wire
New cap/rotor
Hondata intake manifold gasket
Portflow dual valve springs with Ti retainers
ITR intake valves
OG Skunk2 intake manifold port matched to 66mm Alpha throttle body.
OG Skunk2 Stage 1 cams

S4C US trans
Replaced all synchros, bearings, 1&2nd gear and installed JDM CTR LSD in 2006.

JUN Flywheel
Clutchmasters Stage 3 Kevlar clutch

We inspected the motor and pulled the valve cover, everything was in great shape.

I plan to keep the mods in line with the build(stuff that was popular/rare/available in early/mid 2000's)

Nice find with such a clean, unmolested beauty. Great work with the audio and getting all the OEM pieces. And awesome pick up with that powerplant.

One thing I noticed was the bare metal you left in the trunk after you sanded the paint off. Did you spray anything over it after you installed the wiring? I would not be able to sleep if I knew I had a bare metal spot on my Honda/Acura lol.

Thanks! Parts are coming along nicely, hopefully will have some momentum with paint shortly

I may put some diaelectric grease or spray some wd40 on it, its a small spot and I (hopefully) fixed any water issues so I dont foresee it being an issue.

well heres an update:

this project took a different direction than I intended. I dont want to lose the simplicity of how stock the car is so it wont go much if any further than this, other than replacing parts with better condition ones as they pop up.

I went ahead and did a less expensive paint job on the car with minor body work, got another set of headlights which were sanded and cleared, new turn signals and polished the tail lights.

I also prepped and painted/dyed the cowl, skirts, rain roof moldings and quarters with SEM trim paint. I repsrayed the wiper arms satin black. For the effort put in, it came out great. Im as happy as ever with the car and now it looks as good as it runs.

Ill post up a new thread on my new project(ive sold all integra related parts besides the 5 lug and wheels which I hope sells soon)
