Re: Casey's 1992 Civic Si build
thanks guys!
Couple small things:
Picked up some old school Apexi NGK plug wires. I used to drool over these way back in the day but could never justify spending the money on them. These popped up for a very reasonable price and I went ahead and jumped on them. Theyre more red than pink and quality is on point since theyre NGK
Picked up a mint rear cargo cover from a friend. No rips, tears, stains, animal hair etc. I also picked up a mint lower console from him but didnt snap a pic yet

Re: Casey's 1992 Civic Si build
Thanks!
Got a couple more small things done:
I picked up the original rear seats from this car that a friend actually had from the previous owner. They are in great shape, needed a cleaning and the bottom fabric had clips removed and had been partially pulled off the cushion. I gave the bottom to a friend that has an upholstery hook up to get that back on and cleaned the seat backs.
I went ahead and put fresh mugen stickers on the strut bars. They are gunmetal, not the original black but will do for now. I plan to get the bars refinished at some point, just brushed again but taking out some of the scratches

Re: Casey's 1992 Civic Si build
Thanks Dre, Im waiting on your build thread!
hahaha taking it back to the golden days. 02-11
I got the interior 99% together. Installed the rear seats with cargo cover, ITR front seats, ITR shift boot, OEM optional armrest, and lower dash console. I still need a cup holder but should be able to grab easily. Also threw the FG360 on

Re: Casey's 1992 Civic Si build
Im really enjoying working on this because I am not doing it every day. Once a week is giving me time to break from it and not get frustrated. Then again, I havent had to do anything too tedious either.
I also installed a Deutschwerks DW200 pump since this car still has the stock pump. I shouldnt need anything more than this and it is quieter than the Walbro.

Re: Casey's 1992 Civic Si build
finally bit the bullet and bought this off my friend that I got the shell from. I have a good oem semi tucked harness but this is a step or two up
Joel Levy Racespec harness. All milspec wiring, new plugs, and raychem heat shrink.
Im not going for a shaved or tucked look but this will be a nice addition for sure

Great foundation and you are doing it up the right way. This build is making me take extra time on my sedan build. Thanks for inspiring me to take the extra steps needed to make it look just right.

Re: Casey's 1992 Civic Si build
thanks Joel!
Awesome! Youll be happier in the long run if you do it how you want!
Exactly. As much as I want the car done, my schedule hasnt aligned with friends that have a tow worthy vehicle so the car has sat for a month an a half waiting on bay paint. Im not trying to meet a deadline for a meet or a show and knowing that when it is done, its going to be satisfying to see it was worth it

Re: Casey's 1992 Civic Si build
thanks again everyone!
Finally was able to make a little progress. We towed the car to paint on friday and I went back over on saturday to prep the bay for paint. Scuffed it up and degreased. Its taped up and will be sealed and sprayed on Monday. Took advantage of the indoor lighting for a few pics of the interior and exterior. Also got a couple more small orders of parts: ITR valve cover gasket kit, new overflow tank with lid and line, positive/starter cable, negative cable, ash tray for the back of the arm rest, cover piece for the screws on the front of the arm rest, and a rear wiper assembly.
