9th gen Civic TypeR
Hi,
in Germany and Europe we have the Civic TypeR Turbo since the 9th generation.
The first real Turbo TypeR limited to ~ 6000pcs.
In 2016, I fulfilled my dream and bought a new one.
First came a 4 "downpipe and a Remus Catback with Flap control for the Exhaustvolume
And a little bit slower
A little bit Carbon
Than the Eventuri Intake
The TypeR Bro´s
JDM LED Fog Lights
More Carbon
Wagner Intercooler
And the last pic is from the German Autobahn
Next Steps
-Install new Rims
-7mod Software for 440PS / 620Nm with OEM Turbo
In Europe, we now have the 10 generation as you in the US as Civic TypeR. 9th and 10th gen are almost identical cars. The 9th gen was almost the experimental vehicle for the 10th gen.
We have both cars in the company, the FK8 has become much better for everyday life. The Suspension is softer, the seats wider. Multimedia is better, getting started easier. But one lost the 10gen, driving pleasure. If you think that the 10gen brings fun, it makes the 9gen better. The 9gen is a bitch, you get punches in the back, you jump on bad roads. You mean it is a racing car directly from the WTCC.

Nice type r! I got a 10th gen and am loving it. Since they're the same engine I am curious how you liked the Dp and intake? Did they make a big difference?

That's a nice looking daily though what wheels are those? Also that first photo in the parking garage is awesome!

Re: 9th gen Civic TypeR
Differenc:
-10th gen has Rev adjustment when switching down
-10th gen has a single flywheel / 9th gen has a dual mass flywheel. Because the 10th gen has problems with the Gearbox (4.Gear)
-10th gen transmission is shorter. The 9th. gen TypeR can still drive with enough power exactly 300km/h, the 10th gen does not manage without changing the Rev or transmission.
-The OEM "air intake" looks smarter on the 10th gen

Re: 9th gen Civic TypeR
The wheel is from Sparco (Italy) a daughter of OZ-Racing. Sparco assetto gara the exact name. Very cheap and light rims. And with TÜV certificate (is important in Germany)
Thanks ... i love my s2k.
