Maybe if it were an earlier model with unpainted mirrors. I don't think he's going for the panda look so I think painting them was advantageous.

Went to IFO at No Problem Raceway a couple weekends ago. Did decent for a stockish single cam... was my first time on a drag strip so my times were noob status

not bad at all there's ls swapped civics that struggle to get in the 15's, im confident you can hit 14's with a little more work

Thanks man. I was having some issues with the clutch slipping some in the beginning of each gear. I think with a stronger clutch and some sticky tires on some light 15s would get me there. Was a ton of fun tho either way. cant wait for the next event

yea Ill try it out at the next test n tune but I need to put a stronger clutch in there. I think there is a noticeable difference but had to tell if its real or not lol

Not really too much, I decided to change the clutch out for something a little stronger so I put on an ACT HDSS kit to replace the second Exedy oem replacement one lol. Also running a new exhaust setup. I wanted it to stay relatively quiet so I ran 2.5" piping from header to the muffler which is a stock 2014 civic si muffler. Added some flow without too much noise so I like it. Next thing will be to buy two rota c8 15s and throw on some sticky tires and see what my new times are.. Im hoping for a 14.8 or so then maybe a small shot of nitrous to see if I can get into 13s. More interested in all motor times tho. really want to see what I can get the stock zc engine into with car is stock form ya know? just for ***** n giggles

Yea me too lol. I ran a 15.414 in it with clutch slipping at the beginning of each gear, $50 tires and with about 120lbs of car audio in it, stock exhaust, ebay header etc so theres a little room for improvement

got some different wheels to replace those busted up c8s... 15" Konig Daylites. They were still the original orange finish so I went n grabbed a few jugs of aircraft stripper.. still some paint left to get off but I needed my car so ill get the rest off next week.. opinions?
