300hp single slammin ninja turtle
 

i bought my coupe last october and have dropped all of my monies into it. done every thing myself with help from my friends here and there.
i decided to stay with a single cam because im tired of seeing b16s, gsr's and ls's.
dont get me wrong i love a gsr on boost as much as anyone else. but anyway to the pics.

completly stock with blown struts.
the car had mint interior to start with.

when i got the car i had orginally planned to swap a b16 into it. but my friend jon told me that d16s were cheap to make decent power on.
so i set out for boost. i did some reading and i set a goal of breaking 400s.

first thing i had to put on was a 20 dollar intake lol

yea im going to boost it im piecing together my own turbo kit so its taking a while as of right now im really close so in maybe a week something might happen lol

so for some good news but bad news in april i blew the **** out of my motor
driving around with no oil for like a week and it finally blew on i-4

i ended up have 3 motors total in my garage cause i need a new crank and block i payed like 100 for each and thats when i finally chose to fully build my motor.
i started with going to FJdistributors great customer service with fast shipping and he helped me out with some knowledge and the price. i order the vitara kit with the i beams so i could have a compression ratio of 841 and i ordered the gasket kit from there also i chose to do a little head work too...

i acutally used d-series alot though my build
i acutally did alot to my motor
vitara/fjt rods
arp rod bolts and head studs
shimmed oil pump
balanced and polished crank
std bore
mild head work
