$460, figured I could always sell them for at least that when I go KW down the road.

Yeah you could flip those, if not break even pretty easy.

Still going on this, found a hard to find ek9 brake/ armrest delete thingy. Likely picking up a complete 5lug swap in the next week or two I almost have my buddy talked into selling it we shall see. Also got a new daily which has slowed down my motivation.

Thanks I am stoked to have it, real lucky in general how I found it.

Made some ricer mods I had sitting around today. Bought OEM battery tie down stuff to get rid of my ghetto zip tie one I had to make to pass tech. Also installed hydraulic hood shocks since it's so worth it. Installed the CTR center console delete I had sitting around. I doubt it was ever cleaned under there in like 18-19 years it was nasty. Can't wait for new red carpet and getting the interior all black. You reall notice the difference old dark grey stuff sucks.

Have some ITR rear seats I need to swap the frames on so they bolt up but haven't had time. Mostly just waiting on my paint guy to have an opening and I'll strip it down/ take out the windows and send it off.

That car is literally paying you to clean it!

You have a leather wrapped wheel?

I put in a s2000 steering wheel and em1 gauge cluster to get rid of that hideous wrap he put on the stock one. Forgot to take pics of that

I haven't but I'm pretty set on a CTR one or spoon if I feel dumb enough to buy it. I think they're like $3,000 now so f that.

awesome photos!

Let me know when you finish restoring the EK to be PY. I will ship my PY car to you so you can have something to work on.

There is a write-up if you google search 'stack tach in Civic cluster'. It's the older 92-95 Civic but it should be similar.

The stack one they used was super thin so it was relatively easy to do.

Yeah the EM1 I've only seen that one.

Also saw a motorcycle tach one that was cool but it never got finished on NWP

I thought of doing the same but didn't care for the hacking up a cluster thing. Just went ahead and bought a UKDM Civic cluster that read in MPH and has a 9K redline. Hondata has a 'check engine shift light' option anyway...

Yeah but it's not accurate so you're probably hitting 11k rpm

Actually sold those wheels. Picked them up ultra cheap and sold them for double. Likely to 5 lug so I can't use them.

Not exactly a ground breaking update but I did need a new battery since my old one died and figured I should shave a few pounds. Nothing crazy but I plan on "trimming" up the OEM battery tray but I only expect to save maybe another lb so it's not really worth it yet.

It's winter here and although unusually warm I made an appointment to get it painted for the end of February so I am kind of just waiting on that. Should hopefully have it back mid March painted and looking pretty.

Went with the odyssey pc680 and this billet mount from JHPUSA

All in I saved about 11lbs. (didn't get a photo of the battery tray, OEM battery mount and a few other items since they weighed so little.

Little bling for the stock engine bay it all needs to get cleaned up eventually.

For now just collecting some braking parts. About to order the Wilwood front BBK made for a DX since I can't use tried and true ITR/ mini rotor on this smaller DX hubs. Should have plenty of stopping power with an 11'' rotor up front. Trying to decide if I should go two piece or not. Would love the benefits of the two piece rotors but have so much to do if I want to make some vtec club events this year.
