And one more photo of it because I have loved driving this thing all over finally.

B20 is the most underwhelming motor. It’s such a disappointment.

I remember DA guys would put them in and beat up on the stock LS kids.

I put a jdm b16 in mine and all they could do was bash the torque. But everyday their car fell on its face while mine pulled to 9,000 rpms

id much rather have a b16 then a b20

Ive never had one so figured I’d go for it. If it sucks I’ll find a cool motor or go K which is what I think I want to do.

I’ll likely sell it in a few years for a Ferrari 360/430 anyways

I have a B20 in my Integra, it is in fact underwhelming, still have to downshift to go up hills on the freeway lol. I'd go with a GSR motor, it's the happy medium...

I think Wiki has "Redline" and "Rev-Limit" as different specs.

I had a Spoon PR3 ecu. That’s why. Plus I didn’t have stock obdO b16 cams. Which are the worst ever made.

swing and a miss...

Well good and bad news. Think I’ve been chasing a stupid transmission leak forever that was actually the passenger side tire rod boot. Was super torn and had some stuff dripping out of it does that likely mean by steering rack is leaking? Either way hope this stops the leak for now fingers crossed. Need to get the alignment touched up again but totally worth it the passenger side was leaking and the ball joints were so blown out and wasted. Should feel 100x better once re-aligned. Was one of my favorite differences on my old CRX you really notice it.

Yeah likely your rack is bad as well.

Manual swap?

Yea I’d be a ok with that. I think you you use a manual eg rack and eg/ dc subframe with eg/ dc mounts just like k series. I’d prefer that for the better steering rack ratio. Time will tell I’ve got bigger fish to fry.

Manual EK rack is a giant slow turning turd. I don't know about the older racks, though my vote would be SI power steering or that Integra/Civic rack combo people do. If you're still feeling some "Looseness" look into tightening/adjusting the steering rack. Honda sells a specialized wrench for this exact job. I haven't done it yet because I haven't really had the time, but I have the tool sitting in my garage if you need it!

Oh weird I didn’t know you can adjust it. As far as I know the manual EG rack has the fastest turning ratio? I wouldn’t go manual EK I think they have the same ratios. Hmmm time to Google

I know eg/dc rail is a must if you plan on a k swap. I’d do it for those purposes. I had my rack an piñon along with subframe from the ek9 restored before putting it all together. I should have just went with a eg/dc but at the moment it didn’t come to mind.

I'm getting it aligned this afternoon and some tires mounted for the new CTR so hopefully I can put some miles on it and see if the leak has stopped.

Just collecting random junk now found the shift linkage I need, obd2 distributor etc. Hopefully getting the ecu and alternator today.

I’ve got that b20 swap for now. Just collecting parts to get that going I can’t stand how little power the d16 has

I’m really wanting a gt3 right now though so I wouldn’t be shocked if I sold this and the cayman s for one. Waiting until after my wedding so for now who knows?

Autocrossed it today, so much fun I just don’t understand it from a cheap commuter. Can’t wait to hit Thunderhill or Buttonwillow
