Now in regards to POR15 itself. It works best when applied to a rusty surface. After all it is more of a rust "slower" than a preventative coating. It acts as a sealant to compromised surfaces. Overtime it tends to fade in areas exposed to sunlight and elements, and I have seen it chip on another friend of ours car thats driven year round. It is almost like it does not bite to clean metal as well as rusty metal.
In short, I suggest exploring other options. A spray on undercoating will save you time and money. This will hold up better to elements as well as road debris. Possibly use POR to cover any rusted areas, than coat over it. Rileys car still looks beautiful underneath almost 3 years later, but it is also garaged and not driven during winter months here in the Northeast. He will tell you as well if he could go back he may have chosen a different, less time consuming product to coat the chassis.
Hope this helps and sorry for being long winded.

I agree with Connor on the POR15 I used it on my project as well and it is very time consuming to do but at the same time you want to prep the surface properly so that it may stick well.
Mine has faded quite a bit it is not the same color it was when I applied it and my car is also garaged kept and not driven in winter.
