Default What are the differences between the B20B blocks outside of piston compression height

I purchased a 1998 JDM B20B and was wondering if there’s any difference in the actual block that leads to higher compression than other b20’s or if it’s just the internals. I’m planning on fully building the engine for all motor high compression and don’t know if I should build this block or get the 99 or b20z that’s known for higher compression if I’m gonna get new internals anyway

Pistons are the only difference.
