Lets try if I can get some easy setting for my cams this way. I have a pair of regrind copyes of s2p2 only vtec profiles. It would be so easy to degree cams with the lifts @ tdc.
So have anybody measured what is the valvelifts @ tdc with properly degreed s2p2 cams on a b16(valvelashes included)?

Valve lift at tdc?Your valve are close and the cam will be on the base circle this way!Degree the cam the right way on the vtec lobe sir.More time but you will be 100% sure of what your cam gear setting will be.

typically no. Not from my experience

thanks shodan helping a friend get his parts together for his motor and didn't know since skunk said anything over 11.5mm needs lost motion so didn't know if that's a sell tactic or not.

Pretty sure the general rule of thumb is to be running the Spring / Beehive type LMA for cams over 12mm lift.
