Valve ports and manifold runner covered in oil
Rebuilt my b20 vtec and after twice taking head off for oil leak I've seen the intake valves covered in oil along with all the port and intake runners, exhaust valves/ports have signs of oil and the pistons are covered in oil to with the valve reliefs full of it. The valves have been recut and new seals fitted. A vacum check in the port indicates a very good seal too so how can I get oil in there? The machine shop are baffled too. I do not have the breather system connect to intake btw. HELP!

Your getting massive blow by! You need to install a catch can to relieve the pressure!

Re: Valve ports and manifold runner covered in oil
I have two outlets on back of block into a can and three on rocker cover one being the oe outlet into another can. I had no oil consumption problem prior to removing head though. I do feel quite abit of pressure from the rocker cover outlets at idle but reduces when I remove oil cap, the outlets on rocker ID are around 8-9mm, should they be bigger?
