balancing is not needed, although for insurance im running gsr main caps with the factory girdle, this along with arp rod bolts will make me safe-ish to around 87---9k rpms. due to where the ls/v setup will make power, this is definetly revving high enough and i will probably set a rev limit at about 8500 pending tuning.

like dc2 said...any b16 head will work just take into account how old it is and go from there.
One thing I've been wondering, though this isn't my post. Isn't the B16 single cam? Since it is how can you use a single cam head on a double cam block? Even though it looks like it would fit.

These prices are very old and are not representative to today. 6 years of inflation, and depreciated dollar, an earthquake, and a tsunami, and you've got a bit of new pricing to do.

have a couple of questions, when doing a lsv head swap would you have to get thicker gaskets to change the total height for the timing belt or is there a aftermarket belt that comes with one of the kits?

you can use a ls or gsr timing belt, just have to use corresponding water pump. Dont need a thicker head gasket
