No problem. Again, what you're describing in the way of engine / driving characteristics & behaviour is based upon the stroke of the engine and not just bore. This has been duplicated in the GLSR to a great degree.

I don't think you'd see that big of a difference in 83mm gsr with nitrous any more than you would 81mm, without the accompanying stroke increase of LS/B20

oh i meant with 89 crank in the gsr. the parts where i live are easily attainable and pretty cheap.

For now. I've started a nice collection of these items as in many parts of the country are becoming damaged beyond repair or are now getting scarce.

thats also true. the price of oem stuff now like wheels and even type r cams has gone up like crazy and now are a bit harder to come across without being damaged like you said

I was thinking of doing a 82x89 GSR when I starting putting together my higher compression build. Think it'll be a nice little beast in my DX shell. As far as my current P73 piston build, you think a 440cc RC injector would be too much ? I figure this will give me room to grow into them when I start making more power, paired with the 255lph walbro pump.

Nope. It'd be just fine. I have a set of Denso 3S-GTE 430cc low z injectors myself. I'm at 81.5mm x 89mm at 12.5:1 Static CR

Damn, sounds like a nice set up . Are you using pump gas or e85? Im trying to make as much power possible on 93 octane as the closest E85 station is a solid twenty five mins away and it seems like more of a hassle for me . At 12:5:1 did you have to pull timing ? I assume you tuned it with S300 also ?

For that build I am using 93 Octane fuel. Didn't want to use E85 at all, nor was it necessary. My tuner did not need to pull much timing from what I remember at tune time.

I am using Apex'I Power FC V.2.0 standalone. I haven't used Hondata since 2004.

Here is the build. Still kickin' almost 10 years later.

Not this year. Been swamped with work, working on the house and selling my other TSX. The only thing left for it is getting rid of the LS 5th gear in the transmission, I have an Ultra Street Intake manifold for it already, new brake calipers and a Cold Air Box add on.

Anyone else think the Tuner2's are too much cam for 11:0 GSR?

I can't speak on Tuner 2s per say because I've never used them. When I called Skunk 2 about doing the P73 piston build, at around 11.3:1 compression, they still recommended me the Tuner 1 cam.

My 11:1 gsr did 182/132 on the 1's. Just looking for a little more.

Call Skunk 2, they'll tell you what you need to know.
