Troubleshooting: P2V Contact with B20B low comp and B16 Head- what's next?

Hello everyone, i'm planning to add VTEC in my b20b low comp 8.8:1.
I want to increase compression by milling the head 0.033" - 0.030" and get a solid 10.0:1 with a 2 layer head gasket too. My question is: With the p3f pistons, will the valves hit the piston in VTEC?
I'm planning to use B16A2 cams.
Thank you in advance for the replies.

Likely, yes. All that you just stated you would like to do is a bad idea. Milling the head that much retards the cams with respect to the crankshaft and makes it very difficult to properly tension the timing belt. The two layer head gasket reduces the cylinder head quench area (which you have also reduced greatly by milling the head) which makes flame propagation far less efficient during the combustion process. Finally, reducing the distance between the valve face and the piston top at TDC increases the possibility of valve contact at the edge of the valve relief pocket on the piston.

Just get some pistons and make the compression that you want using a standard 3-layer head gasket and leave the cylinder head at stock depth.

What... you didn't like my answers ??? LOL Would you have felt better about them if a few other members said "agreed" or "yes, this ^^^^" ??? You could try it your way, but please do me and the H/T community a favor: After you have trouble, come back and report the failure/damage so that others understand what you did and how those mods caused the damage. Pics would be a plus. ;)

Im searching for someone that used the same method to gain compression to ask for any trouble they did find. I know is not a good way to gain compression but atm is difficult for me to take out my engine because its in my daily car. There is no need to be rude to people you know.

It'll work completely fine. Just slap it all together, don't worry about checking belt tension or timing, or claying the engine, it'll work great.

Rev it out to 9.5K on the first pull, you'll love it :)

This advice is only for OP, because he's so ambitious. For anyone else, just spend the extra $150 on Nippon/YCP pistons.
