Default Toby1900's B20vtec All Motor plans. Realisitic, or pipe-dream?

I am planning to build an all motor 12.5:1 b20 vtec with B16a head. I will be using BC 95mm stroker kit, 85.5mm cp piston, block sleeved, ACL race bearings, Head polished & ported, flow tested to 310+ cfm, Oversize Bc valves, guide, BC titanium retainer & springs, Skunk2 Pro3 cams, etcs.
My goal is to achieve 250whp on 91 pump gas and revving the motor to 9000rpm. Is this setup realistic for daily drive? Any suggestion is highly appreciated. Thanks

I'd advise against a 95mm crank for a daily driver. The extreme rod/stroke ratio that you have to start working with from the custom length (short) rods that come with that kit will wear out the rod bearings quite a lot quicker and also introduce more side load onto the cylinders.

85.5mm bore is also excessive, even on sleeves. Stick with an 84-85mm bore at most (I'd advise 84->84.5, as the power difference will be extremely negligible and in case something goes wrong with your sleeved block, you can still have some meat left to bore out the walls).

Most other things sound fine. 12.0 -> 12.5:1 should be good on 91 octane with a good tune. You'll also need to make sure your V2V, valve to valve clearance is good with oversized valves and the Pro 3 cams. Also, the Pro 3 cams are oversized for this build anyway, you don't have enough compression. Stick with Pro 2.

If you lowered your goal to the ~230WHP mark, you could get off the "bleeding edge" of a lot of these components and make things a lot cheaper, more simple, and have more longevity.

OEM 89mm crank, 84mm bore with either stock or aftermarket sleeves, Pro 2 cams. Would still put you over 230WHP or so, depending on the dyno.

Don't forget the importance a good transmission/gear ratio will play with the build.

Thanks for the suggestion. How about building a jdm B18c sleeve block with bc 92mm stroker kit and 85mm pistons. Bc oversized valves and skunk2 pro 2 cams. Will this be a reliable setup?

Are you building that engine just for pure street use or also racing use? If also racing, what kind? Drag or road race. Generally extremely long strokes suits for street and drag engines because they see max revolutions, velocities and loads just short periods at time. Road racing is different story and piston speed and rod/ stroke ratio have bigger role in reliability, because long term high piston speed generates heat (friction), sideloads increases stress peaks in cylinder walls and piston skirts and higher velocities in bdc/tdc also rod bearings (crank geometry).
Camshaft choise also depend that.

If you can choose between B18C and B20 block, P72-block is always better starting point, sleeving it or not. It is native VTEC-block, have main girdle and oiljets. B20’s best part is 89mm crank and block in case when have to build a two litre engine with a tighter budget in mind.

Why oversize valves?
