Default Suggestions/Peer Review /Approval Needed: Another B20-Vtec-Build

I was hoping to get some input on a build I'm planning on working on in the next few months. So far my list includes:

B20 Block With Stock Bore
LS Crank
Shot Peened Rods with ARP Bolts
YCP High Compression 84MM Pistons
B16 Head(Port and Polished - Need recommendations on a reputable shop to send to)
ARP Head Bolts
Skunk2 LMAS
Skunk2 Valve Springs and Titanium retainers
Skunk2 Cam Gears
Now I'm not sure what cams to get. Maybe Skunk2 Tuner3s or Skunk2 Pro2s. Opinions? I'm afraid they will be too aggressive for my build I won't be able to utilize their full potential.
Full 2.5 Exhaust Maybe 3 is better?
68MM TB

This is going to be my daily driver. I don't need a race car just something reliable but also fun to drive.

Looks like a solid build, very similar to my LSVTEC except I'm at 81.5mm instead of 84mm. One thing I didn't see you mention is whether you will fit the pistons to the bore? P2W clearance on a used block may require you to go up .5mm in bore.

I don't have first hand experience with any of those cams, so take my advice with a grain of salt, but I've seen several b20v builds on here that used the Pro2 cams with around that compression ratio and made really good power.

I think if you can get 3" exhuast it will be better.

I would also consider getting some RDX injectors, it looks like you will be maxing out the stock 240cc injectors.

4Piston does amazing port work but it's not cheap. As far as I know they are the best in the business, though. Don't forget to budget for a tune!

Looks like a good list of parts, pretty similar to my b20v...few suggestions..

if if you haven’t bought pistons yet go 84.5mm to start fresh

Pro cams will outshine the tuners, pro2 will work great

3” exhaust with no cat

70mm TB

rdx injectors+Walbro 255

for port work hard to beat 4piston racing, Honda s300 is great for tuning, get a good header and 3” intake

I looked into 4piston racing. Can you just send them a head and ask for port work? I couldn't find that service option anywhere on their site. Maybe I need to call?

I'm buying a b20 block off a buddy who had it decked and honed. He took the block to a local machine shop with his pistons and doesn't remember what they honed it out to. I might go 84.5 to be safe. I'm trying to do my research on P2W clearance and I think .001'' is about what you want to go for YCP pistons.

I was worried about fuel being a bottle neck. Might upgrade the injectors and fuel pump. If I do, should I upgrade the fuel pressure regulator or will the stock FPR work sufficiently?

What did your b20v put out? I don't know what to expect power wise with this build. At least 215 WHP?

I was afraid fuel would be a bottleneck. RDX injectors plus the walbro is a great suggestion. Would i need to upgrade the fuel pressure regulator too?

I bought my block off a friend who was planning to go a low compression build. He had a local shop hone out the block and deck it. My only concern is P2W clearance. Maybe I should go with 84.5 and have it matched with my piston specifications to be safe.

Do I need to call 4piston racing to get an idea of their pricing? I couldn't find their port and polish service on their site.
