Default Stock GSR girdle..

Is it possible to put a stock gsr girdle on a b20b block?

Yes if you have the GSR main caps. main bolts. windage tray. oil pickup. oil pan. A machine shop will need to install the GSR main caps and girdle because the block will need to be align honed.

I've seen several B20 and LsVtec builds with GSR mains last without line honing. One of them has over 20k miles, daily driven, redlined several times daily. I'm not saying it's not a good idea to line hone, but sometimes things align without a line hone.

so it will probably be better just to go with an endyn block girdle then

Both Endyn or OEM may or may not need align honing. I would just go with which ever you can get cheapest.

To do it RIGHT, it's an expensive thing to install.

It's really an overkill item for most street builds.

Personally, I'd spend my money elsewhere.
