Icon3 skunk2 intake/throttle body install.

im having some issues figuring out how to get all the connections in the right spots. I have the pro series manifold and throttle body. the stock throttle body has some extra connections that the skunk2 TB doesn't, like the fast idle thermo valve and two others. how does this hook up or does anyone know of a step by step installation site? or if you are someone who installed it yourself can you guide me?

Its no longer needed so all you need to do is run a hose from the manifold to your IAC where fitv hose originally went

the large coolant passage on the IM gets run as normal, and the small coolant passge just gets blocked off.

The TB lines get run as normal, just not with the fast idle/thermo valve.

The purge valve solenoid can just stay plugged in and the vacuum not connected. the canister vacuum should be hooked back up as that is for the gas tank purge. the solenoid just needs to remain plugged in or you will get a CEL.

This is how mine is currently hooked up and I have no issues and no CEL, however, I have an omni TB not a skunk, but the connections are the same. cheers

well this is how i think it connects correct me if im wrong! the stock throttle body has an evap connection on the top im going to get a y connector and connect the tubes from the evap canister and have it running to the sensor that is on the back of the stock manifold which will be on the side of the skunk manifold. ok now theres a coolant line on the bottom of the stock throttle body im going to connect it to the tube of the fast idle valve that comes from the idle air valve that should have the coolant flowing to wherever it goes from there i do not know. if you know step by step how to connect the lines to where please PM me i have watched the videos on youtube i have been to other forums i have even asked tuner shops in my area even as far as talking to skunk2 themselves i know it is not near as close to brain surgery or rocket science i could figure it out on my own in time i am sort of a perfectionist and just need to be sure it is the right way. please help

You're not going to get a step-by-step How-to on this. If you're switching Intake Manifolds, follow DazeMS's instructions, and either install it by a professional, or get the helms manual and go from there.

i appreciate the effort you put into the description but its the throttle body i'm having issues with and its for a d16 engine, if that matters?

TB install is TB install regardless of series. Some lines may vary but that's it.

ok.. what you have is even more simplified. I dont understand what the issue is..

BTW, the way the lines route are exactly the same way B vs D. Hell, D series guys run GSR and B18a-b throttle bodies all the time.. its the same.

in those images the tubing coming from the valve cover is not on mine. the tubing lead to the CAI piping and I replaced the tubing with little filters. where are you getting these maps?

that tube from the valve cover is a crank case vent tube. It SHOULD be routed in the Intake. The engine actually helps pull the air from your motor, which is a good thing.

Google images.. They are honda's service tech sheets. Easy to find if you search correctly.

You should reinstall the line metal lines you removed and set it up as soo. It is less complicated and your crank case vent will now be working properly. Hope you understand.

you have to adjust your throttle cable and throttle body adjustment screw located on the TB linkage.

yea the adjustment screw was too high. no vac leaks. but where I plugged the coolant line on the connecting pipe it leaks from the plug. I have a cap on it but it still leaks and a clamp. so should I run the coolant line to it an plug the little nipple on the manifold? I think you suggested that anyway?
