There's no DIY here for that, and if it's knocking that's a Cobb repair anyway.
Is that pic your engine bay? Please put a proper upper radiator hose clamp!

bought the car this way.just want to see if i can fix the bearing problem. seen many diys which fixed the knocking problem by replacing the bearings but cant find a diy for the this car.
engine bay will be gutted and cleaned up/painted and remove the rest of the turbo stuff.

When your rod bearings slip and go it damages the crank journals and will need to be miced from the bearing being destroyed. you cant just replace them like that. Remove the engine and have it checked properly. Especially if you plan to turbo it....

because it can be done this way. just looking for a temp fix since i need this car running to be able to move it time to time from my garage to my driveway.
don't want to keep worrying every time i start the car hearing that noise.
already found a full motor but wont be installed no time soon as i have to do the interior and fix the body and trunk

Re: rod bearing knock /rod bearing install??
Well I've done it this way and I'll say that I'll never do it this way again. With that said, all you need to find is a write up on replacing them in general and then picture yourself doing that on your back with the block still in the car.
PS
Reiterating the need to pull the block out and have the crank inspected properly for the record. If there's knocking already, it's pointless to just install new bearings as is even if you can do it without pulling the engine. If there's damage on the crank journal you're going to end up pulling the engine anyway.

Re: rod bearing knock /rod bearing install??
Just my .02 , but after finishing all that labor the car will sound exactly that same.
I've done this on a mis-shifted gsr engine only to have the same exact noise on start up. The crank shaft journal is heavily scratched and causes excessive rod bearing clearance and oil pressure drop.

labor is easy just changing the bad one for the meantime. dont want to blow the motor and have oil in my garage or driveway. cant take that risk when moving the car time to time.
dont want to drop the motor till i have everything back in order from the previous
have to redo the trunk and interior then suspension the the body work
