Re: Road Race 2.2L B-Series
dude if 4piston had a service available I would have not said a word but I experienced an issue with the 5th main getting oil.. I was only trying to enlighten people with some of the issues these blocks have.... but people do as you wish.

I also have a dart talldeck and IMO the way they sent it out is unacceptable - the threads in the block weren't tapped all the way and the sleeves weren't even seated fully. :/
I needed a line home too. :/
I also agree about the oil passages - check them thoroughly before running this block and go over it with a fine tooth comb.

No problem, I must have misunderstood your post.

Thanks for sharing 4p, can't wait for updates on it.

That's pretty wild, maybe you guys had the first batch I've used maybe 10 of them and they were in pretty good shape out of the box. We had more prep work than an OEM block, but nothing like you guys are describing. All points don't really matter anymore due to them not making the block. Once stock is gone they are done for and I don't think they have many...if any left.
I've done plenty of 95 to 98 stroke engines since this...all of them are making over 300whp...some over 330....two over 350. This one was my favorite because it wasn't a drag car. It was something that was driven hard for a long time and the owner got to see confusion on K series guy's faces as he drug them down the straights. Obviously and equally prepared K without displacement limits would have been a different story...but There is a little satisfaction in how it all played out with this sleeper engine program.
