questions on a motor I want to assemble
 

I have a spare gsr block I wanna assemble and im not sure about a few things.

I want to throw a ls crank, ls rods, and oem pct pistons into it. standard bore.

will this work? will the piston rise above the deck? what compression would I be at using a b16 head with flat faced high comp valves and 3 ply head gasket.

it'll work, b the same thing if ur doing it in a ls block. not sure on the b16 head but with the gsr head sometimes the ctr piston hits the head. u have to grind down the IN word off the the ctr pistons to advoid hitting the head.
y u choosing to use ctr pistons?
