Profab header Works Good!!!!!!!
So last week I dynoed my car. My best last time I dynoed was 201HP 135.5 TQ with a dc header and prelude injectors. This tim I did 440 injectors and a profab header. The first pass on a base tune I got 206HP and 137TQ. The end results were 210.5 and 138.8TQ. It had a real nice torque curve too! https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

The old setup
http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg The new setup. Header has rusted a little with all the moisture in the air from the rain. Don't mind the hacked up cross member it's just to get me buy till I get a traction bar. Sorry no dyno charts right now I'll try to get them http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...MXk1NDE%3D.jpg Modified by Karterguy13 at 9:47 AM 4/9/2005 Modified by Karterguy13 at 9:52 AM 4/9/2005 |

Re: Profab header Works Good!!!!!!! (Karterguy13)
Hey man
Ive been looking into these headers a lot lately, and reading the posts on here about them. Just wanting to know if any what modifcations did you have to do to your car to install this header. I have heard that the o2 bungs are very far back and you may have to extend the wires...anyway if you could help that would be awesome..thanks -Adrian |
Re: Profab header Works Good!!!!!!! (Karterguy13)
what dc header were you using we tried the same thing with a 2.5 inch dc and then we put the profab on and lost power

Chewie is my friend. chewie is bubba I'm Billy, but yeah. I am glad he let me run his header, but it will be mine soon. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by sick64nova »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> what dc header were you using we tried the same thing with a 2.5 inch dc and then we put the profab on and lost power </TD></TR></TABLE> I was using a 4-2-1 Piece of crap. I have never heard of people loosing power. Considering I know 10 people with this header I would say it works <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Ado »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Hey man Ive been looking into these headers a lot lately, and reading the posts on here about them. I also had to cut the shit out of my front cross member on my EF. I also cut my exhaust and put in a flex pipe that I can remove easily. |
Re: Profab header Works Good!!!!!!! (Karterguy13)
I like the design of the exhaust manifold, but arent there clearance issues with the motor brackets on the bottom of the motor where it bolts up to the tranny?

Re: Profab header Works Good!!!!!!! (hybrid_vtec)
