i am looking at the zex 109300 cam and i wanted to know what the people with this cam were running (what setup) and how it did....does this cam like compression,boost,high rpm or what any ifo would help

also can you run without a upgraded cam gear?...as in adjusting the ignition timing instead of the cam timing...just until i can get a cam gear...

i have the 59300 in my z6 and it bangs!!! i installed it while i had my turbo on and it made my top end even more crazy then it already was. people say that it is not boost friendly but.....it is! i have not dyno'd it yet but im for sure it made some decent power gains. i do have an adjustable AEM cam gear, but ive seen people not use them. as long as you have the 59300 in the z6 and the 109300 in the y8 you wont need one immediately. i would get one though so you can get the most potnetial out of the cam. it makes power til about 7600 is what i heard, as long as your motor can go that high.
