Yeah... Great minds think alike . I bumped that other thread.. I doubt if you'll get a response here, but perhaps a call might net some results. And for god's sake, make sure you get tech support, and not sales.

lol well i was trying to help out the guy before me. i saw he was thinking that he had pro 3 and so i posted what mine said on the ends. hope it helped him out some.

I bought used like you, then this thread confused me as well. Mine have a "D" marking, and was confirmed through S2 tech support to be P1. I have the original boxes as well with P1 labeling.

Might not be the letter that matters as much as where the letter is stamped? S2 tech wanted to know where my stamp was on the cams.

I know this is an old thread but I’m having an issue identifying a set of S2 cams I bought brand new from an authorized dealer on eBay a year ago but the user name is no longer valid. I’m just now getting around to installing them. Everything about the cams appear to be great but they are stamped with a “D”. They’re supposed to be H22 pro 1 cams but accord long to the chart they are B-series pro 3 cams. My guess is that they changed the stamping process again bc I’ve seen many people questioning this system and some of the markings. I do have an old set to compare them to and they seem almost identical but the D mark throws me off. Does anyone know if there’s a new contact on here for Skunk2 since Brian left? I’ve emailed the sales and tech department but haven’t gotten a reply. I’ll try to add a few pics soon.

hi I’m new to this and I just purchased a pair of tuner cams for my b series from skunk and I’m scared that the person installing might switch them. I was wondering if there is a way for me to tell if they are skunk2 cams installed my a marking or a any other way to tell. Thank you. Also I purchased valve springs and retainers and would like to know if there is a way to tell on those also.
