Just read through here a very impressive hobby you have there as well as some monster machines also like the reason you chose b16a over b16b does make sense if you were going to be revving really high

always on stock bottom end but with slide throttle, stand off injection, custom camshafts and custom exhaust
with the civic 4WD 4WS H22 turbo (and the Red Stig Girl ^^ )
25km/h (15mph) to 150km/h (94mph) on the second gear for the feeling of the dyno curve:
enjoy test:
serious acceleration in first and second gear (I have not had the way to take the second to the 11000 rpm rev limiter)
with the civic 4WD 4WS H22 turbo (and the Red Stig Girl ^^ )

Intersting. The full girdle I've been dying to do since Spoon did it years ago. Making the B series more like a K series bottom end for support, I approve.

cheaper is better
water cut for the belt, two b18c girdle and just one machined at finish
(only 0.002" flatness error but it's amazing the amount of aluminum removed)

first of all, I built stock engines with only EK9 camshafts, 500$ of parts (with those cams in the budget) and 1st in rally races... (2 liters engines behind)
I had not found a sponsor for this actual engine then the bottom end is stock (thanx Honda and his genuine bullet proof B16A!)
11000rpm, 223 WHP on stock bottom end, slide throttle, stand off injection and daily use!
