i have a d15b1 with a mpfi swap and it just recently started throwing the code. when i start the car it revs at 2k for a few seconds then drops to 1.5k but once i get driving and come to a stop light it idles back at 2k. i know its indicating something with the fuel supply and i don't know what to check.
please help

a lot of air is getting into your engine. find where it's coming from. from there, you can solve your problem.

code 43 is fuel supply. basically its saying that the engine is no longer in fuel control. First check for vacuum leaks which could also be the culprit for your high idle by sparing brake cleaner around the intake maniflold and throttle body.

Check for exhaust leaks close to the o2 sensor. Also check that the o2 sensor is switching between 900mv and 150mv

i had 2 cars with same problem
both were bad O2 sensor and incorrect ignition timing.

once i replaced O2 and set timing to proper place the bouncy/high idle went away and so did code 43
