b20 vtec motor damaged! what should i do???

Default b20 vtec motor damaged by BLOX TB.... what should i do???

my b20vtec motor start knocking so i removed the engine to check it first check the rod bearings thers is no sign of wear even on main bearing
so i removed the head and found a allen head screw stuck on my head and also made some marks on my piston cylinder #1
found out the screw came off my BLOX THROTTLE BODY from the thrrottle plate
the allen head screw still on my head

my set up
gsr head
blox hsl 3 cams
blox cam gears
blox valve spring n retainers
victor x manifold
72mm BLOX TB

b20 block
84mm rs pistons
stock rods with arp rod bolts
micropolish crank
acl race bearings

b16 tranny
comp clutch
light flywheel

That sucks. I'd take it to a machine shop and have them look at it. The head should be a pretty easy fix for them. The piston might also be ok. I'd go find someone who works for Blox and give them a swift kick in the jimmy

^^^^ this is probably true. next time you should do what i do to every single screw on my butterflies and throttle body. i jb weld those things call me crazy but yes i am paranoid and have never had an issue.

Mediocre aftermarket parts failing and causing damage? No way?!

Time to rebuild the right way, half *** it and you will likely regret it

Blox makes there own knock off of loctite called loxtite, guess the quality is lacking..

Not to disagree, but a local had the same situation with a Holley TB. Caused a lot more damage though.

time for me to pull off my intake and look at my butterfly bolts



I wish i lived in cali and toss all theyre shitty products ive had to replace thru their window during the blox car meet.
