couldnt find a thread with alot of lsv setups so decided to start this. post any ls/vtec setups u have stock or fully built!!
heres mine still in progress so no dyno nut everythings new

I'm glad to see this thread start.

My build isn't even started but I've been hoarding parts for a while and i haven't quit decided on a few things yet but I'll lay it down.

B18a1 block with darton sleeves stock bore
12.5.1 rollerwave pistons
2.0 stroker kit (undecided on brand)
type r oil pump amd water pump
golden eagle lsv conv
golden eagle girdle (not necissary)
b16a head
full port and valve job
intake side is port matched for victor X intake
bisimoto lvl 3 cams and gears
undecided on headers....
440cc injecters (undecided)
ys1 tranny

I'm looking for 250+ish..... Prolly p28 on chrome not sure

Here is my set-up that is currently in my ED:
b18b1 block bored .25 over
LS crank shaved down .25
acl main/rod bearings
eagle h-beam rods
mahle 10.5:1 pistons
ARP head studs
Full Race lsvtec conversion
b16 head (stock)
DC 4-2-1 header
ACT 12.5 flywheel
exedy stage 1

I have AEM adjustable cam gears and Rocket Motorsports stage 2 valve springs and Ti-retainers, OBD-1 hasport engine harness and obd0-obd1 ecu jumper sitting in my garage. Waiting to get valves, valve guides and cams before i rip my head off to get a 3-angle job, P&P, 310cc injectors and swap over to obd1 to tune with Hondata. Also looking at an ITB set-up and a different header.

Swap out that OBD-0 intake manifold for a newer obd-1 or 2 and you should pick uo a few HP. You can usually find them around for ~$25. Just make sure its stamped P30 and not PR3.

HEAD
- b16 head (rebuild with no head work)
- Omni power valve train
- ITR intake cam, CTR exhaust cam

INTAKE SYSTEM
- Performer x mani
- PP 65mm TB
- ebay 3" SRI with v stack
- Hondata IM gasket

EXHAUST
- RMF 4-1 rep. header
- VSR 2.5 bre bent tubing
- 14" magnaflow res.
- 2.5 magnaflow cat
- 06 + civic si HPF muffler

OTHER...
- RDX injectors(410cc I think) at 40PSI
-Walbro 190lph fuel pump
- MSD system (cap,coil,wires,box)
- P28 tuned on crome with 92 octane and NO cam tuning

GSR head with cccylinderheads hot street package (290-300cfm est.)
Skunk2 Pro1 cams
TWM 50mm itb's (mildly ported)
RMF replica header
3 inch exhaust

pays off to mildly know what your doing

first two tunes were on a dynapack with ANR header and 2.3 inch catback. original tune 196whp/135tq, second tune (ported head) 203whp/137tq

just retuned for the new header and exhaust this past tuesday on a dyno dynamics dyno. unfortunately i took a deposit on the car the day before the dyno, so we just cleaned up the fuel/ignition and didnt touch the cam gears from the old tune. im pretty happy with the results of the past 4 summers

if they become out of round then it needs to be done.

if you wind up egging it, you will eat bearings quite quickly.

buying a hatch with ls/v swap was wondering what plugs u guys are using and stock ls block with ctr head what C/R should i be at cant find any info online. thanks

Also cars was smoking when hitting vtec looked like white smoke said its been like that since he had the car. It smelled like fuel could it be getting to much fuel also pretty sure its not tuned at all. Some help would be nice before i drop the cash
