Default LS vs GSR engine carpartment hose connection.?

Curious if anyone has used a thermostat housing from a non-vtec bseries onto a vtec bseries.??(LS->gsr).. the whOle connecting pipe along with the thermostat housing..

Doing a build... 01 gsr bottom end with a 95 gsr head.. Swapped the stock gsr intake manifold for a skunk2.. the factory gsr style has a metal tube from the connecting pipe to the heater core, i want to eliminate that metal tube.. Factory manifold has mounting location, which the skunk2 does not. I’ve been staring at the helms for awhile now and it seems like the LS work and do me very will..

Has anyone done this.? Or even thought of this.??

in the fsm/helms.. 10-3

HAve not done it but, If the LS one does not have the hose that you dont want to have then it should be fine. They are both Bseries blocks so if it doesnt bolt right up it probably be easy to make it happen.
Give it a try.

you could just get rid of the heater hose pipe and just run a single hose straight to the thermostat pipe.
