Default KingMotorsports H23 Vtec ALL motor 282 WHP 196 WTQ!!!!!!

Well we just finished a 12.8:1 compression H23 Vtec motor
This graph is comparing the stock intake manifold with a 68mm skunk2 throttle body and a Skunk2 pro series manifold with the same 68mm T.B.

Here is the build

Here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5QXBobCBmo

Kingmotorsports blueprinted and balanced bottom end.
12.8:1 compression race gas for a race car
Wiseco pistons
Crower rods
Kingmotorsports ported head and competition valve job
Skunk 2 Pro 3's
Skunk 2 Pro series Intake manifold
Skunk 2 Pro series 68mm Throttle body
AEM cam gears
Custom header
Crower Cro-moly retainers
Supertech valve springs
Hondata intake gasket
Hondata S300

Skunk2 intake manifold vs Stock intake manifold
both with the 68mm
Red line is Skunk2
Blue line is stock

The best run by itself

Wow, it is not even close.

May I ask what sort of flow numbers are you getting from the head@28"of H2O? You don't have to be exact just is it above 310 cfm?

Nice job Mike. I will send the header pic's on Sat. Or should I say, not another good dyno sheet with Skunk cams, copy's are so much cheaper. I will copy the the Pro2 H22 sheet and send that to, the curves are similar until 8300. Go home, it must be cold in " why would I live here" WI.

Did you only port match the oem intake manifold to the 68mm throttlebody?
were the runners ported? did you remove the second throttle spacer?
with race gas 14:1 + compression is still your friend.

always great job

We only port matched the intake gasket and the throttle body opening, The butterflies were still in but not working, they didn't make enough of a difference to wire them up 4 good. The customer wanted to run race gas 110 sunoco, so that what we tuned it with. The customer is not local so we just wanted to tune it with what he was actually going to use in it. The motor is going into a race car 92-96 prelude. We tested it in another car for dyno purposes only.

Vernier style.

I guess Brad was right about an INT CL of 100 working real well.

The gear position is irrelevant isn't it? Everybodys setup is different head milling, valve job, how much they are sunk, valve size, deck milling, thickness of margin, and valve clearance. I am assuming that combustion just wanted to know the separation of the gears but the deg-reed numbers are really what matters. But i am sure you are well aware of this
