Default Idle Surge

Just got a DA after not having a Honda since 06. This thing has a bad idle surge issue and I'm not sure where to start for repairs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It's a 93 but has an LS swap.

Thanks,

Chav

Take the intake off

Check for a vac leak first

Cover the throttle body and starve the engine of air

If the engine stays on youll hear the vac leak.

If it dies check your fitv if you have one

Reset the base idle going by the honda fsm
Check ign timing
Check mechanical timing
Check iacv

Thanks for the troubleshooting steps. Looks like I have plans for the weekend now.
